As soon as we enter kindergarten, this is one of the first questions we are asked. While it may seem silly to ask a kindergartner, it is actually a very important and relevant question. Instead of asking children "what" they want to be when they grow up, perhaps asking "who" they want to be might yield a better answer to work with. Understanding "who" you want to be allows to drive academic choices in middle and high school to shape positive post secondary outcomes. Understanding the value of short term, long term, and SMART goals can set a student up for success academically and well as a fruitful career that they flourish in and enjoy. Let me help your child figure out "who" they want to be through mentorship and goal setting.
