Social wisdom is having the ability to interpret social situations and interactions with others successfully. Unfortunately, post pandemic life has been challenging for people of all ages. Increased isolation decreased the ability to read body language and facial expressions. Additionally, when you are in isolation, you are the center of your world and fail to recognize that others exist and everyone is entitled to have their own feelings and opinions. This disconnect is the root cause of many negative misinterpreted messages that cause conflict and unhappiness. Without the ability to see that you have the power to make positive and impactful choices that can lead to a flourishing growth mindset, being a pro-social productive member of society, and leading a fulfilling successful life, you are your own social-emotional growth prohibitor.
